Guide
TikTok allows 30 shoppable videos a day. Almost nobody should post near that. What the cadence data actually supports, by stage.
Three to five posts a week, at a consistent time, beats daily posting you cannot sustain. One a day is the ceiling most brands should aim for, and only if quality holds at that rate.
That is a duller answer than "post 5 times a day", and it is what the data supports. The sweet spot in 2026 is one to three videos a day depending on stage, but most brands get their best results at three to five a week, adjusting by format and audience signal rather than hitting a fixed quota.
TikTok's Creator Eligibility Policy lets US creators and merchants post up to 30 shoppable short videos and 60 shoppable photo posts per day per account.
Those are ceilings, not targets, and they get quoted as advice constantly. Nobody has ever succeeded on TikTok Shop by finding out where the limit is.
Worth knowing before you plan a cadence: if you are an affiliate creator between 1,000 and 5,000 followers you are in the Affiliate Creator Pilot Program, capped at three shoppable videos a day and three shoppable LIVE sessions a week.
The 30-a-day figure does not apply to you. Planning a cadence against a limit you are not on is a common and avoidable waste. Full status, and the higher ceiling, needs 5,000 followers plus a Creator Health Rating above 176.
The full eligibility breakdown is here.
An account posting daily at a consistent time for eight weeks earns more distribution than an account posting erratically at higher volume. Consistency reads as reliability, and reliability is what gets pushed first.
This has a practical consequence for how you plan. The right cadence is the highest number you can hold for eight weeks without quality dropping, not the highest number you can hit next week. Most teams overestimate this by roughly double, burn out in three weeks, and conclude the channel does not work.
| Stage | Cadence | What you are doing |
|---|---|---|
| Brand new account | 3–5/week | Finding which hooks hold attention. Volume here is wasted before you know that |
| Growth | 1/day | Enough for the algorithm to learn the account, sustainable for a real team |
| Scaling with creators | 1–3/day brand, plus affiliate volume | Your affiliate roster carries volume; you carry consistency |
| Around a LIVE or launch | 2–3/day, short burst | Concentrated, then back to baseline. Bursts work; permanent bursts do not |
Notice that at scale the volume comes from creators rather than from your own account. That is the actual answer to "how do I post more": you do not, you recruit.
One a day is the practical ceiling for most brands at the growth stage, and three to five a week is where most see their best results. The platform allows up to 30 shoppable videos a day, but that is a limit rather than a target.
Post the highest number you can hold for eight weeks without quality dropping. An account posting daily at a consistent time for eight weeks earns more distribution than one posting erratically at higher volume.
Not if you are an affiliate creator between 1,000 and 5,000 followers. The pilot programme caps you at three shoppable videos a day and three shoppable LIVE sessions a week.
Less important than posting at the same time consistently. The regularity is the signal; the specific hour matters far less than most schedules assume.
Recruit creators. At scale the volume comes from an affiliate roster rather than from your own account, which is the only version of this that is sustainable.
